Tory infighting damages Hague
William Hague's allies fear his leadership is being destabilised by shadow cabinet infighting and backbench unrest. The FT reports how one long-standing supporter said the mood of the party was now "very gloomy indeed" and that a growing number of MPs were discussing ways to oust Hague immediately after the general election unless he delivers a significant Tory recovery.
