Falconer could face legal action
Lord Falconer and the dome bosses could face legal action after a fresh report highlights new problems with the management of the beleaguered project's finances. The report suggests the dome was insolvent whilst trading earlier this year. Calls to close the attraction early may be prompted again after the consortium bidding to take over the site said it could begin work "within weeks". Legacy, backed by Labour supporter Robert Bourne, hope to set up a business and technology park on the Greenwich site, creating 9,000 jobs and supporting a further 35,000 in the south east London area.
