Tories top donations list

The Conservative party accepted donations of £4.2m between April and June of this year, while Labour were given £3.2m.

The top five donors were: Unite the Union, £765,628 (Lab); National Conservative Draws Society, £400,000 (Con); UNISON, £385,263 (Lab); GMB, £368,948 (Lab) and Usdaw, £305,244 (Lab).

The Lib Dems received a total of £972,344 in donations - their top donors were Brompton Capital Limited (£250,000) and C & C Alpha Group (£200,000).

Skipton & Ripon Conservatives received £22,956, topping the constituency donations list, followed by Aberdeenshire East Liberal Democrats (£20,000), Carmarthen West & South Pembrokeshire Conservatives (£19,000) and Stockton North CLP (£16,056).
