Shut that door!

By Tony Grew
- 3rd December 2010

The late, much-loved Larry Grayson would have approved.

Three Lib Dem MPs have backed a campaign that aims to conserve energy by asking retailers to keep their doors closed.

Stephen Williams, Julian Huppert and Lorely Burt have signed an EDM on "the excellent work of the Close the Door campaign in Bristol and Cambridge".

The campaign hopes to go national and the EDM "congratulates Jaeger and Neal's Yard Remedies who have taken up the challenge; hopes that other retailers will follow; and encourages honourable Members to support the campaign in their constituencies in the Christmas shopping period".
