Nominate your women role models

By Tony Grew
- 6th May 2011

Today is your last chance to nominate an inspirational female MP or peer for the Women in Public Life Awards 2011.

The awards, now in their fifth year, celebrate women leaders in society and seek to recognise and promote the work of women in politics, business, the civil service and community leadership.

Nominations close later today - visit the awards website to submit a nomination.

The awards are sponsored by Scottish Widows and Dods.

Last year's winners included Annette Brooke (MP of the Year), Laura Kuenssberg (Journalist of the Year) and Baroness Stern (Peer of the Year).
