Commons wins catering gold medal

By Tony Grew
- 10th February 2011

Stephen Hepburn is an MP who knows his way round Parliament's many catering outlets.

So it is no surprise that the doyen of the Sports and Social pool table has popped down an EDM praising the Commons culinary team on winning an award.

They won a gold medal at the Hospitality 2011 event late last month as representatives of the British Culinary Federation as Team England.

Hepburn's EDM "congratulates the team on their nationally-recognised success; and wishes the team further success and achievement in the future".

So far only three MPs have signed it - which is odd considering these are the people that prepare their food.
